Spring 2021 Recreational Program

Rec soccer is back this Spring, and we are excited! DC Stoddert Soccer is happy to offer Rec soccer in 2021. Game locations will be based on field availability, given the relative health restrictions. Some games may take place in close-by fields in Montgomery County.

Game formats will be small sided:  4v4 up through 1st grade, 5v5 for grades 2 through 5, and 7v7 for grades 6 and older. This provides flexibility in field locations and keeps numbers manageable on game days, in line with local health restrictions.   For specific info about the Pre-K program in Rec, please look at our Pre-K Plus program information.

Given the smaller game formats in most age groups, the team sizes will have to be managed to ensure that all players get enough playing time. Teams playing 4v4 can have up to 8 players, teams playing 5v5 can have up to 10 players, and teams playing 7v7 can have up to 14 players on the roster.

See the Spring 2021 Rec Soccer Rules adjustments here.

Recreational games in the Kindergarten through High School age groups will be played on the following Saturdays and Sundays:  April 24/25, May 1/2, 8/9, 15/16, 22/23, June 5/6, 12/13. Game schedules will be posted about a week prior to the start of the season.

As with all of our programs, full safety protocols, following DC Stoddert Soccer's Return to Play Guidelines, will be in effect. All participants will wear masks at all times, unless a documented medical excuse is provided.

Talk with your friends, get your team back together and get signed up to play!
