Robert Mahoney has been in DC for almost 12 years. He has been playing at Our Lady of Lourdes (NJ) and club soccer at the University of Buffalo.  He holds a USSF ‘E’ License and pursuing his ‘D’ in July 2019.   He’s passionate about developing the game, supports Liverpool and married to wife Zoe and Daughter Sabrina.



 

Andre Russo is an Italian national born in Rome, Italy who played initially for the Don Orione Academy in Rome before moving to the United States as a teenager. He was a stand-out player George Washington University where he played and started all four years. Coach Andre played semi-professionally in the American Soccer League for the Fairfax Spartans and the  Washington Stars reserves which at the time had many of the 1990 US National Team players. Russo has 12 years coaching experience and holds his USSF National C License

 
 

Alex Minton currently serves as Program Manager at DC Stoddert and Volunteer Assistant at Georgetown Women’s Soccer. Prior to that, he was the Director of Coaching from 2011-16 at Tallahassee Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

Minton’s coaching stops included four years on the technical training and coaching staff for Tallahassee United FC and a stint as a volunteer coach at Florida State in 2010.

Originally from England, Minton played for Luton Town Football Club for 10 years. He then went on to play at the collegiate level at Stetson University in Florida.

Minton has earned United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma and holds a PFA Level-2 license, a National Youth License and is a member of the Professional Footballers Association.

 

Henry Fuentes is regarded as one of the younger coaches at the club. Coach Henry adds a wealth of experience to our coaching staff as he has been working with Tots and Future Stars age players for the past seven years.

Fuentes also continues to coach with the DC Stoddert Travel Program, concentrating on the U9/U10 Boys Teams. Entering his fourth year of coaching Travel, Fuentes holds his USSF D License.

 

Meghan Nally was born and raised in Northern Virginia and has played soccer for over 17 years. Nally began her competitive club career with FC Virginia where she played from 2008-2016. She has since continued with the Washington Spirit Reserves (Germantown, MD) and is a junior on the Georgetown University Women’s Soccer team, who just reached the Final Four in the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament. She is pursuing a degree in Marketing and Operations & Informations Management and holds her USSF E License.

 

 

Colleen Bozzi joins the DC Stoddert Tots Staff with a wealth of knowledge from coaching multiple development programs from ages Pre-K through high school. She enjoys focusing on helping youth players develop technical skills and building confidence in their play.

Bozzi also has experience in coaching several after-school programs with the Real Madrid Foundation. Outside of soccer, Bozzi works as a Nutritionist.

 



Richard Criswell coached in Tallahassee, Florida for a number of years, mainly concentrating on the U8 age group. While also living in Florida Richard was a Champions Coach for Titus Sports Academy. The Champions program was designed to teach kids the value of maintaining personal fitness throughout life. We accomplished this by going to area schools one or two days a week by starting with basic calisthenics and then moving on to fun but competitive games.  Stoddert is excited to have Richard on board with our programming working with our players.

Nick Papadis serves a dual role at DC Stoddert. While working as the club's Communications Manager, he also is an active member of the club's coaching staff.

Papadis coaches within the Tots, Future Stars, and Juniors Program and greatly enjoys working with the youngest age groups.

He holds his USSF D License, United Soccer Coaches 4v4, 7v7/9v9, and Level 1 Goalkeeping Diplomas and is also CPR/First Aid Certified.

Outside of youth sports, Papadis works as a play-by-play broadcaster for American University and George Washington University. 


Katie Lu
"Klu" grew up playing soccer in Massachusetts and continued through her college club team at American University where she earned a B.A in both Public Health and Sociology. She has been coaching soccer since high school and loves to watch young players develop confidence over time. She is part of the US Soccer Foundation's Soccer for Success program and is a certified facilitator. Outside of coaching, Klu works at a soccer non-profit in DC serving over 3,000 participants as their Monitoring and Evaluation Manager.
