Tryouts for Teams Seeking Players

TRYOUTS FOR TRAVEL/DEVELOPMENTAL TEAMS

Annual formal tryouts occur in late May and early June to form teams to enter the travel leagues each Fall.  Tryouts for GU9-GU12 are organized and run centrally by the DC Stoddert administrative and coaching staffS.  GU13 and older teams organize and hold their own tryouts, generally in the context of ongoing practices in late Spring.  Teams that need players outside of the tryout "season" may post notices on this area of the website.  However, if your child is interested in playing travel soccer, you should contact the manager of the respective boys’ or girls’ teams in the appropriate age group to see if there are any potential mid-year or mid-season openings and to be placed on a list for notification of formal tryouts later in the year.

Coaches and teams almost always are interested in seeing skilled and committed players any time of  year.  For general information on the travel/developmental program, please click here.
