DC Stoddert has more than 40 academy and travel teams, which are comprised of boys and girls, ages 9 to 19 years of age, who are ready for more competitive soccer experiences.  U9-U12 teams are formed through open tryouts each spring.  Older teams organize their own tryouts in the late spring or early summer.  Specific information is available by contacting the team coach or manager. 

Travel teams practice either two or three times per week and play games on the weekends.  Seasons are 9 weeks long in the fall and in the spring.  Boys’ travel teams compete in the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL).  Girls’ travel teams compete in the Washington Area Girls Soccer League (WAGS).  Some boys’ and girls’ teams also compete in the MSI Classic League.  Most travel games are played on Sundays in competition with teams from the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
