Monday's Clinics Are Now Full
The GU8 clinics promote skill development and build familiarity with the Girls Academy curriculum.
The GU9-10 and GU11-13 sessions are being offered to provide cutting edge training methods for recreational players in the club. Many players end up discovering a love for the sport, developing strong skill levels, and sometimes even decide to try-out for travel teams. All players improve tremendously in skill and insight, and in soccer specific fitness and competitiveness.
Each session, the players warm-up with their ball in a skills-focused environment. These extra ball touches enhance ball control, confidence, dribbling touch, foot surface use, and coordination. Training exercises and small-sided games promote successful skill development, application, game understanding, decision-making and team work.
Clinics will be held at HARDY REC CENTER Field, on Foxhall Rd (NOT Hardy School).
Players should bring a ball and water to every session. They should wear shin guards and soccer shoes, and should wear athletic attire.

U8 Developmental Academy
Coaches of the Spring U8 Academy sessions will provide a balance of structured training and unstructured play during the regular season. Since players will not be preparing for any games with recorded results, the focus will be on individual player development in a team training environment.
Training will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 pm at Carter Barron field (16th Street, NW and Morrow Drive) starting April 9th and ending May 30th. Questions about the Academy can be directed to Ben Mortimer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
