These teams seek players for the spring 2010 seasons and beyond:

The rising U16 Dragons will hold tryouts for interested boys (born after 8/1/94) on Wednesday, June 9 and Saturday, June 12.  The June 9 tryout is from 6:00 to 7:30 at Fort Stevens Recreation Center, 14th and Van Buren Sts. NW.  The Sat. June 12 session is from 5:00 to 6:30 at Shepherd Elementary School on Kalmia between 15th and 16th Sts. The rising GU16 DCST Edge -- WAGS Div. 2 champions -- is looking for impact players. The Edge won the Spring 2010 division championship and plans to focus the fall season on showcase tournaments. The team will focus on college showcase tournaments for the spring and summer. The Heat also has received a grant to travel to Morocco July 9 - 20 for a soccer and cultural experience of a lifetime.
