Capping a month of strong competition, the GU15 DCST Force bested the Arlington Intensity 2-1 on Sunday, May 31, clinching the 2009 US Youth Soccer President’s Cup in their age bracket for the state of Virginia. The President’s Cup is a state, regional and national contest for travel teams. The Force now head to Delaware June 6 & 7 to play President’s Cup state winners from Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey in the sub-regional round-robin qualifier. The Force is the first DC Stoddert Soccer women’s team in memory to win a statewide competition. Congratulations to Coach Kevin McShane, and may The Force Be With You on the next round!
