Then try out for Stoddert’s select Coed Adult team!

DC Stoddert Soccer has been a longtime supporter in money and in-kind contributions of DC Scores, which teaches life skills through soccer, poetry and service-learning projects to students in 23 District of Columbia elementary and middle schools.This year, for the first time, we are entering a team in the 8th annual DC Scores Sharks v Suits competition. The contest, which last year raised $80,000 to support this excellent program, will be held at Trinity College on June 13 and 14 and involves playing from three up to five 7 x 7 games, depending on how far we progress.

The team, ideally 22 players, will be coached by Len Oliver, DC Stoddert’s Director of Coaching and National Soccer Hall of Fame member. Practices at Jellef at 5:00 PM on Saturdays.

We look to recruit a squad of 7 to 8 woman and 14 to 15 men who have the fitness and technique to play against other
area adult teams for up to five games in potentially hot weather. The tournament is a lot of fun and provides the perfect opportunity to show your kids that you still have the moves. We will also need to recruit a team manager to act as liaison with DC Scores.

Please contact Len to sign up for a tryout. He will confirm numbers for the first practice. The club will cover the cost of participation and will
honor the team with complimentary tickets to a D.C. United game.
