The U5 division begins this coming April 2011. The U5 division is open to boys and girls born between August 1, 2005 and July 31, 2006 OR children who will be entering Kindergarten in September of 2011. Those players falling outside the age range but entering Kindergarten this fall should notify Tom Gross at tom@stoddert.com after the player has been registered so that the player’s year of play can be adjusted.

The U5 division is coed. All Girls soccer does not begin in DC Stoddert until U8. All players must register online. Because of the limited field space available to DC Stoddert, enrollment may have to be capped as it was the past four seasons in U5/U6. Register early to ensure a spot for your child. All teams in the Stoddert recreational program are organized and coached by parent volunteers. Parents are urged to form teams. U5 teams should consist of 12 to 14 players plus at least two adult coaches and ideally a team manager. Coach’s training is available just prior to the season start, usually late March, and again shortly after the season begins.
