We know our DC Stoddert players, coaches and parents are among the best-behaved on any pitch, but it’s nice to get some official recognition. The Washington Area Girls Soccer League recently awarded its inaugural Team Sportsmanship awards to two of our travel teams -- the GU 13 Edge and the GU13 Red Mischief.

The teams were chosen by their opponents for good sportsmanship on the playing field.  Each team was asked to evaluate such things as how respectful the team /coaches are to the referees, how respectful the team spectators are towards others as well as toward the referees, and the positive support the team has for her teammates.
Yaaaay, teams!
