STODDERT RECREATIONAL AND TRAVEL/DEVELOPMENTAL TEAMS

DC Stoddert fields both recreational and travel/developmental teams.

Open Coed Teams (Recreational)

Comprised of both boys and girls, ages 4 1/2 (Spring) and 5 1/2 (Fall) through 19 years old, players are divided into divisions by birth date.  All children registered by the deadline are placed onto teams with no tryouts necessary, and all team members are given substantial playing time.  Emphasis is on skill development and fun through playing.

Open Girls Teams (Recreational)

Comprised of girls, ages 7 to 18, who prefer to play on girls-only teams, players are divided into divisions by birth date.  All girls who register by the deadline are placed onto teams with no tryouts necessary, and all team members are given substantial playing time.  Our focus is on skill development and fun through playing.

Travel/Developmental Teams

Comprised of boys and girls, ages 9 to 19, who are ready for more competitive soccer experiences, teams are formed through open tryouts.  Boys’ travel teams compete in the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL) and the Old Dominion Soccer League (ODSL).  Girls’ travel teams compete in the Washington Area Girls Soccer League (WAGS) and the Old Dominion Soccer League (ODSL).  Most travel games are played on Sundays in competition with teams from the Washington metropolitan area.  Individual team information can be found in the travel section.
