ALICE DEAL JR HIGH SCHOOL - Map 15, D4 - From the Beltway, take the Connecticut Ave South exit (exit 33). After exiting, continue on Connecticut Ave South, approximately 3-4 miles to Nebraska Ave. Take a right (West) onto Nebraska Ave. After Reno Rd, take a right onto Ft Drive (light). The field is located behind the jr high school. Parking is available there or on Reno Rd.
CARTER BARRON PARK – Map 9, J5 – Take the Beltway to Connecticut Ave South (exit 33). After exiting, continue on Connecticut Ave South, approximately 3-4 miles to Military Rd. Take a left (East) onto Military Rd and continue to 16th St ramp. Take 16th St to the right (South). Carter Barron is on your right in less than 1 mile. OR take the Beltway to Georgia Ave South (exit 31). In approximately ¾ mile, take the 16th St ramp (to the right). Follow 16th St South approximately 3-4 miles to Carter Barron.
ELLINGTON FIELD (38th and R Sts. NW) - Map 21, E5 - Take the Beltway to Wisconsin Ave South. Continue South on Wisconsin to R St and turn right. Continue on R to the intersection of 38th St. One block north of Georgetown University Hospital.
FORT RENO PARK - Map 15, C4 - Take the Beltway to the Connecticut Ave South exit (exit 33). After exiting, continue on Connecticut Ave South, approximately 3-4 miles to Nebraska Ave. Take a right (West) onto Nebraska Ave. Turn right at Chesapeake (stop light). The fields are approximately 2 blocks on your right, across from Wilson Sr High School.
FORT STEVENS REC CENTER -
From Maryland: 495/Beltway to the Georgia Ave South (exit 31). Go south approximately 5 blocks on Georgia Avenue,turn right onto 16th St. Continue into the District and proceed approximately 2.5 miles. Once you pass the Walter Reed Medical Center go four more blocks and turn left on Van Buren Street. Field is one block ahead on the left.
From DC: Military Road east from Connecticut Avenue, exit going north 16th Street , turn left at the end of the ramp on 16th Street, go two blocks and bear right on Luzon, and then right on Van Buren at the Rec Center in another 4 blocks
FRANCIS MIDDLE SCHOOL FIELD (25th St. between M and N Sts. NW) Nearest Metro: Foggy Bottom. From NW Washington, take Massachusetts Ave. East. Right on 23rd, Right on N St. and left on 25th St. From Georgetown/Key Bridge: East on M street/Pennsylvania Ave., left on 25th street. Parking is tight.
GEORGETOWN DAY SCHOOL (GDS Lower & Middle School campus) - 4530 MacArthur Blvd NW - beyond Georgetown University Hospital on Q St. NW. Entrance to the school parking lot is at the intersection of Q St NW and MacArthur Blvd NW. D6 Metrobus stops @ school entrance. MAP
HARDY REC CENTER (Foxhall Rd south of Q St., NW) - Map 21, B6 - Take Chain Bridge to Canal Rd. Turn left onto Arizona Ave. Turn right onto MacArthur Blvd. Stay on MacArthur for approximately 1.5 miles. Make first left past the reservoir onto Q St. Field is on the right. OR take the Beltway to Clara Barton Pkwy East. The Pkwy will become Canal Rd at Chain Bridge. Stay on Canal Rd. Turn left onto Arizona Ave. Turn right onto MacArthur Blvd. Stay on MacArthur for approximately 1.5 miles. Make the first left past the reservoir onto Q St. Field is on the right. PLEASE OBSERVE PARKING SIGNS and PARK LEGALLY.
HAMILTON REC. CENTER FIELD: 1300 block of Hamilton Street NW, a few blocks southeast of Carter Barron Park.
HEARST REC CENTER (3950 37th St, NW) - Map 9, D7 - From the Beltway, take the Connecticut Ave South exit (exit 33). Proceed 5-6 miles into DC to Van Ness St (just past the University of the District of Columbia). Turn right onto Van Ness. Cross Reno Rd, going 1 block. Turn left onto 37th St. Field is on the left in a valley just past the Hearst School. Park on 37th St. DO NOT PARK ON IDAHO AVE or RODMAN ST.
JELLEFF BOYS & GIRLS CLUB (3265 S St, NW) Take Chain Bridge and go South on Canal Rd to the light at Arizona Ave. Turn left onto Arizona and go to the light at MacArthur Blvd. Turn right on MacArthur and proceed straight until MacArthur forks at the reservoir. Stay in the left lane. Proceed straight onto Reservoir Rd. Cross over Foxhall Rd and continue straight, past Georgetown Hospital, until Reservoir Rd intersects with Wisconsin Ave. Take a left onto Wisconsin and cross over "R" St. The next right is S St. Jelleff Boys & Girls Club is to the immediate left. OR from the Key Bridge, turn left onto Canal Rd, bear right onto Foxhall Rd to the light at Foxhall and Reservoir Rds. Bear right onto Reservoir Rd. Continue straight, past Georgetown Hospital, until Reservoir Rd intersects with Wisconsin Ave. Take a left onto Wisconsin, cross over R St. The next right is S St. Jelleff Boys & Girls Club is to the immediate left. OR take the Beltway to Cabin John Pkwy. Follow the Pkwy to Canal Road South to Arizona Ave. Turn left onto Arizona and go to the light at MacArthur Blvd. Turn right onto MacArthur Blvd and proceed straight until MacArthur forks at the reservoir. Stay in the left lane. Proceed straight onto Reservoir Rd. Cross over Foxhall Rd and continue straight, past Georgetown Hospital, until Reservoir Rd intersects with Wisconsin Ave. Take a left onto Wisconsin and cross over R St. The next right is S St. Jelleff Boys & Girls Club is to the immediate left.
MANN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (4430 Newark St. NW) - Map 21, B1 - Take Chain Bridge and go South on Canal Rd to the light at Arizona Ave. Turn left onto Arizona and continue to the intersection with Loughboro Rd. Take a right onto Loughboro. Loughboro Rd becomes Nebraska Ave. Take a right off of Nebraska onto Newark St. The school is near the intersection of Newark and 45th Sts.
MARYLAND SOCCERPLEX - Take the Beltway to 270 North (exit 38) towards
Frederick. Take 270 to Exit 15B. Stay on Rt 118 for 2.8 miles to Rte. 117/Clopper Rd. Turn right onto Richter Farm Rd. and take it to Schaeffer Rd. Turn left onto Schaeffer Rd. The Soccerplex entrance is on your right in 0.3 miles.
MEADOWLAND PARK - Take the Beltway to the Connecticut Ave South exit (exit 33). Follow Connecticut Ave to East West Hwy and go East (left). Take Beach Dr South (right) and look for the field on your left before you turn onto Woodbine St.
MOUNT VERNON FIELD (at George Washington University, 2100 Foxhall Rd, NW; enter on W St) - Map 44, U14) - Take the Key Bridge across the Potomac into DC. Turn left at the end of bridge onto M St/Canal Rd. At divide of Canal Rd and Foxhall Rd, stay right and go uphill on Foxhall Rd. Pass the intersection with Reservoir Rd. Continue on Foxhall Rd to the campus entrance on Whitehaven Pkwy and make a left. Park in the campus’s garage and walk up to the field. DO NOT PARK IN ON W St or elsewhere on campus. Or take the Beltway to the Cabin John Pkwy (exit 40) to the Clara Barton Pkwy to Canal Rd. Approx 150 yards past Chain Bridge, turn left at the light onto Arizona Ave. At the top of the hill, turn right onto MacArthur Blvd. At the divide of MacArthur and Reservoir Rd, stay to the left on Reservoir (there is a firehouse on your left). Proceed to the intersection with Foxhall Rd and take a left. Proceed on Foxhall Rd to the ampus entrance on Whitehaven Pkwy and make a left. Park in the campus’s garage and walk up to the field. DO NOT PARK in or on W St or elsewhere on campus.
NORTH CHEVY CHASE ELEM SCHOOL (3700 Jones Bridge Rd) - Map 3, D9 - From the Beltway, take the Connecticut Ave South exit (exit 33). Take Connecticut Ave to Jones Bridge Rd and turn left. Continue on Jones Bridge Rd to the intersection of Manor Rd. Field is at this intersection.
PALISADES (Sherrier Pl, NW) - Map 8, 9K - Take Chain Bridge and go South on Canal Rd to the light at Arizona Ave. Turn left onto Arizona and go to the first right, Sherrier Pl. Turn right on Sherrier Pl and proceed about 3 blocks to the park and field, which are on the right. OR from the Key Bridge, turn left onto Canal Rd, bearing right onto Foxhall Rd to the light at Foxhall and MacArthur Blvd. Turn left onto MacArthur and continue to the intersection of MacArthur and Dana Pl. Turn left onto Dana Pl. Turn right onto Sherrier Pl. Park and field are on your left. OR take the Beltway to Cabin John Pkwy. Take the Pkwy to Canal Rd South to Arizona Ave. Turn left onto Arizona. Go to the first light, taking a right onto Sherrier Pl. Proceed about 3 blocks to the field and park, which are on your right.
RAY’S MEADOWS (8402 Freyman Drive, Chevy Chase, MD) - Map 3, F9-10 - From the Beltway, take the Connecticut Ave South exit (exit 33). Proceed to East West Hwy about a mile South. Take a left onto East West Hwy, traveling East for about 1 mile. Cross over the small bridge, and the field is on your left just off the Hwy. The entrance is on Freyman Drive to the left. The field is the one closest to the parking lot. Please use the spaces farthest from the building.
RIGGS-LaSALLE RECREATION CENTER - 501 Riggs Rd NE, at the intersection with Nicholson St NE
ROOSEVELT HIGH SCHOOL (4301 13th Street NW, Washington DC) School is at 13th and Upshur streets, near intersection with Georgia Ave. Field entrance is from Iowa Ave. Enter via driveway directly to the south of McFarland Jr. High on Iowa; parking area is right as you enter, but there are more spaces as you drive further back to the school. Enter field through a "rotating" gate.
RUDOLPH REC CENTER (2nd & Hamilton Sts, NW) - From the Beltway, take the Georgia Ave South exit (exit 31). Proceed through Silver Spring and take a left onto Blair Rd near the DC border. Stay on Blair Rd to 3rd St, NW. Turn right on 3rd St and go South across Missouri Ave to Hamilton St. Turn left. Field is on the left. Park on the street.
SHEPHERD (7800 14th St, NW between Jonquil and Kalmia Sts) - From the Beltway, take the Georgia Avenue South exit (exit 31). Approximately 3/10 mile, exit right onto 16th St and proceed South. Kalmia St is approximately 3/10 mile into DC marked by a small traffic circle. Residential street parking is available.
SLIGO - Head North on Georgia Ave, or head North on 16th St, taking a left onto Georgia Ave. Turn right onto Forest Glen. At the second light, make a right onto Sligo Creek Pkwy. The field is on the right across from the golf course.
ST JOHN’S COLLEGE HIGH SCHOOL (2807 Military Rd, NW) - Map 9, G2 - Take the Beltway to Exit 33, Connecticut Ave. South. After exiting, go South on Connecticut Ave. toward DC. At the District line, continue around Chevy Chase Circle onto Connecticut Avenue. At 3rd traffic light after the Circle, turn left (East) onto Military Road. Go approx. 1 mile to Oregon Ave. Left on Oregon Ave. and take an immediate left into
St John’s parking lot. Pass the field on the left and park in the lot near the athletic buildings. OR take the Beltway to Georgia Avenue South (Exit 31). In approximately ¾ mile, take the 16th St. ramp (to the right) and follow 16th St. south for approximately 3 to 4 miles to Military Road ramp on the right. Proceed West on Military Rd. through Rock Creek Park. The first traffic light is Oregon Ave. Take a right onto Oregon Ave and an immediate left into
St John’s. Pass the field on the left and park in the lot near the athletic buildings.
STODDERT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (4001 Calvert St, NW) - Map 21, C4 - From the Beltway, take the Wisconsin Avenue South exit. At Calvert St, turn right. The field is near the intersection of Calvert and 40th Sts.
TAKOMA REC CENTER (300 Van Buren Sts, NW DC 20011) - Map 33, W11 - Take the Beltway to Georgia Ave South. Proceed on Georgia Ave to Blair Rd (at the DC/Maryland line) and turn left. Follow Blair Road to 3rd St, NW and bear a right at 3rd St. Proceed 2 blocks to the field on the right.
TRINITY COLLEGE - From the Beltway, take the Georgia Avenue South exit (exit 31B). Proceed approximately 6 miles, crossing the Maryland/DC line. Turn left onto Irving St (the three preceding streets are Morton, Lamont and Kenyon). Cross Warder St and at the next intersection, turn right onto Park Pl. In one block, bear left onto Michigan Ave. Continue on Michigan, crossing First, North Capital and Franklin Sts. Trinity College is on the right. OR from the Beltway, take exit 4B for 395 North. Continue on 395 North. Watch the exit signs. After exit 10, get in the right hand lanes (after exit 11, the road divides and the left-hand lanes funnel onto Route 1). Continue on 395 North. Watch the exit signs carefully but do not take any of them, as you want to remain on 395. Continue on 395 North (follow signs) until it ends at New York Ave. Turn right onto New York Ave. Go through 2 traffic lights and take the first right hand turn after 2nd light (this is M St). Continue on M St for a short distance. At the 2nd traffic light, make a left hand turn onto North Capitol St. Proceed approximately 1 mile. At the 8th traffic light, make a right hand turn onto Michigan Ave. Trinity College is on the right after first traffic light.
TUBMAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (11th St. NW between Irving and Kenyon Streets; school address is 3101 13th St. NW ) Nearest Metro stop: Columbia Heights (Green Line). From the Beltway, take Georgia Ave. South (exit 31B). Follow Georgia Avenue roughly 3.5 miles to Piney Branch Ave. NW for a few blocks. Then south on 13th Street to the school. Field is behind school; entrance off playground on Kenyon Street.
