DC Stoddert Soccer's Recreational Program serves more than 6,000 players each fall and spring. With the help of dedicated volunteers and professional trainers, the Recreational Program provides learning experiences for children between the ages of 4-19. The focus of the recreational soccer experience is on personal development and enjoyment of the game - not winning. Nearly half of all recreational players are girls, making DC Stoddert Soccer the largest youth sports program for girls in the District.
Throughout the course of a school year, the club organizes more than 4,000 games and virtually all the work that goes into the preparation for those games is done by a corps of more than 900 volunteers. Volunteers coach games, distribute uniforms, prepare fields and equipment, create schedules and rosters, and so much more!
The Recreational program provides coed teams from Kindergarten (Pre-K in the spring) to high school, and all-girls teams from 2nd grade to high school.
As a community-minded organization, DC Stoddert Soccer is dedicated to making soccer fun, safe and accessible to all players.
