DC Stoddert Soccer is hiring a Club Registrar whose is responsible for managing the club’s online registration system for Recreational and Travel soccer, as well as providing technical and logistical support to families, volunteers, and members of the DC Stoddert Staff.  The Club Registrar, which may be a full- or part-time position, will work with the full staff and report to the Executive Director. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail. Experience with database management, Microsoft Excel and Word, and website management required. Experience with Blue Sombrero’s online system or another similar youth sports platform beneficial. Interested candidates should send a cover letter and resume to jobs@stoddert.com.

Seasonal Positions


DC Stoddert Soccer, a local non-profit providing youth soccer programming, seeks a committed team player to manage our soccer field preparations and maintenance. The Fields Coordinator role is a great opportunity for a self-directed hard worker who is available on a somewhat flexible schedule. Chief duties include:

- Responsible for weekly soccer field lining (painting) tasks during Fall and Spring playing seasons (about 10 weeks each), covering approximately 9 field areas.

- Responsible for some weekly soccer goal management at select field sites. May involve drop off and pick up of portable goals and / or setting up portable goals, typically drop off is late on Fridays or early on Saturdays and pick up is later on Saturdays.

- Responsible for occasional light field or goal maintenance during playing seasons.

The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, owns a reliable vehicle, is available during some in-season weekdays during the daytime (ideally from mornings through mid-afternoons) and some on Saturdays, and is a highly communicative team player. Interest in youth sports / soccer is a plus. A typical week's work is estimated to take about 15 to 20 hours, broken up over several days during each week. Opportunities may also exist for additional work on top of these duties, if interested, including coaching soccer.

Compensation is provided on an hourly basis. This is a valued position that has growth potential for the right candidate.

Intern Positions

Photo and Video Intern

DC Stoddert Soccer is seeking a Photography and Video Intern. DC Stoddert Soccer runs the largest youth soccer program in Washington, DC with as many as 6,000 players Pre-Kindergarten to High School per season. The internship will run the duration of the academic semester.

The Communications and Marketing Intern will work with the Communications Manager, as well as other staff members as needed. The intern will help with photography and video production. This position will provide opportunities to learn about sports management, sports marketing and communications, and youth programming.


Education Requirements:
Current college Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior


Minimum Requirements:

·      Strong communications skills and the ability to effectively communicate

·      Proficiency in Photoshop and Adobe Premier

·      Must have their own DSLR camera

·      Weekend work availability

·      The ability to understand and execute tasks as given by staff members

·      Hardworking and outgoing; ability to multi-task and execute responsibilities in a timely manner


Preferred Requirements:

·      Basic understanding of the soccer/youth sports

·      Desire to work in a non-profit environment

·      Someone who is a go-getter and will come up with ideas to try to improve the overall experience for those around them


Graphic Design Intern


DC Stoddert Soccer is seeking a Graphic Design Intern. DC Stoddert Soccer runs the largest youth soccer program in Washington, DC with as many as 6,000 players Pre-Kindergarten to High School per season. The internship will run the duration of the academic semester.

The Graphic Design Intern will work with the Communications Manager, as well as other staff members as needed. The intern will help with creating branded graphics for both web and print. This position will provide opportunities to learn about sports management, sports marketing and communications, and youth programming.


Education Requirements:
Current college Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior


Minimum Requirements:

·      Strong communications skills and the ability to effectively communicate

·      Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator

·      Creative individual with an eye for design and ability to blend personal style with company branding

·      The ability to understand and execute tasks as given by staff members

·      Hardworking and outgoing; ability to multi-task and execute responsibilities in a timely manner


Preferred Requirements:

·      Basic understanding of the soccer/youth sports

·      Base knowledge of HTML

·      Desire to work in a non-profit environment

·      Someone who is a go-getter and will come up with ideas to try to improve the overall experience for those around them

The individuals selected will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of projects that cover various elements of the club in the areas of Programs, Development and Events Planning, Communications and Marketing, Graphic Design, and Photography and Video.
