TRAVEL/DEVELOPMENTAL SOCCER
Annual formal tryouts occur in late May and early June to form teams to enter the travel leagues each fall. Tryouts for G/U9 through G/U12 are organized and run centrally by the DC Stoddert administrative and coaching staffs. G/U13 and older teams organize and hold their own tryouts, generally in the context of ongoing practices in late Spring. Teams that need players outside of the tryout "season" may post notices here. However, if your child is interested in playing travel soccer, you should contact the managers of the respective boys’ or girls’ teams in the appropriate age group to see if there are any potential mid-year or mid-season openings and to be added to a list for formal tryout notifications.
