City Football Club (“City F.C.”) is the most recent addition to the DC Stoddert family. City F.C. was established in 2007 to provide District youth with a program combining competitive soccer and first-rate mentorship and college preparation. Its objective is to bring together the city’s youth for educational and recreational opportunities, including but not limited to soccer.

Many a ball flew out of bounds at RFK during the Concacaf Gold Cup duobleheader July 8 -- and DC Stoddert players, including members of the rising U16 Spartans, were there to retrieve and return them. City Football Club ("City F.C."), may be a grassroots program of DC Stoddert, but on Sunday, May 3, players and coaches got a taste of the national game from Pia Sundhage, head coach of the U.S. Women’s National Team, ahead of the Washington Freedom’s 3-3 draw with the St. Louis Athletica.
