DC Stoddert’s outreach program, City FC is sending their champion U-19 boys City FC Rangers to Long Beach, CA to compete in the US Futsal National Championship and needs your help. While the adult volunteers of City FC have been busy fundraising, a shortfall of $X remains before this trip can become a reality. . Anyone interested in making a donation can do so by going to:

The City FC Rangers won the US Futsal Northeast Regional Championship in February in overtime. The team (9 players and 2 coaches, from 10 different countries!) were undefeated at both the Maryland State and Northeast Regional Championships. City FC is a program of Stoddert, servicing high school age students who otherwise do not have the means to participate in programs like organized soccer. The program combines soccer and futsal programming with mentorship and academic tutoring and was established in 2007. In addition to futsal, City FC has two boys and one girls high school team playing in Stoddert’s HS Rec division.
City FC would like to thank Stoddert’s Board and members of the Rec Program for all of their support and help since joining the Club in 2007. The City FC Rangers look forward to attending the tournament and reporting back in late July on their results.
